Dreamstreet presents 4-6 major shows a year, including signature pieces and newly created work. The performances created collaboratively by the cast and professional artists and choreographers, are tapestries of pain, joy, yearning and dreams. Themes include everyone’s right to a full range of self-expression and exploration of the many different cultural backgrounds of this authentically Brooklyn group.

Dreamstreet empowers people with developmental disabilities who are generally excluded from the arts, allowing them opportunities for maximum self expression and self-esteem as they entertain and enlighten audiences. Dreamstreet enables participants and families to move toward their dreams, thereby building a future of hope, achievement and ability.
